well I'm back to working on my 20b, and im having an issue programming my MS2
I'm running MS extra 3.2.1. I'm using Tuner studio MS lite to make changes

I'm pretty sure i know how to set this thing up but I cant seem to find where I need to set up the ignition.

I'm looking for a place to tell it that d15 is spark output C and d16 is spark output B but can't seem to find it.

I plan on setting up like this:

1) Use stock CAS, either missing tooth or 2 x VR conditioner
2) Wire Spark Output A (LED) -> S4 leading coil pack 1-> L1and T1
3) Wire Spark Output B (LED)-> S4 leading coil pack 1-> L2 and T2
4) Wire Spark Output C (LED) ->S4 leading coil pack 1-> L3 and T3
5) Setup as a V6 in wasted spark mode with a 60* trigger angle
6) Trig A: 1
Ret A: 3
Trig B: 5
Ret B: 7
Trig C: 9
Ret C: 11

Unfortunately I cannot find where to enter this information any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

my plan is to run as a 24 tooth wheel

Trig B: 9
Ret B: 13
Trig C: 17
Ret C: 21

 

If you're using ms2, there are no trigs or rets, nor can you tell it which LED is for which coil. It's all set up automatically.

Also, you should consider ms3+ms3x... full seq and COP leading+trailing ignition support for up to 4 rotors in the 1.1 beta firmware.

Trust me I have been, unfortunately I don't have an extra $300 kicking around to get the ms3 and case and coils and what not.

 

Ok, just coughed up the dough for a new MS3 kit and ms3x. I get to do lots of soldering soon!

Anyone want to buy an MS2 V3?

 

I got the 1.1 beta code from here. http://msextra.com/doc/ms3/files/beta/

I chose ms3-pre1.1beta20.zip. I assume that would be it. Can anyone verify?

 

I ask because I am getting the following error in Tuner studio.

 

Tuner studio does not detect the firmware so I select the INI file and I get the error mentioned above???

 

tried loading beta19 too
also reinstalled tunerstudio
no luck...

 

loaded tunerstudio beta seems to work so far
