Gsl-se, want fuel only

Can I run a DIY ms1 (assembled) to control the as-is two injector setup, a signal wire to the dizzy(resistor)? Or will the ecu still need to be modified to run? I've tried searching but no specifics to how I want to run mine, always go off into gen ii staged 4 injector, with a cas and second gen coils. I don't want all that mess, just want a good factory setup fuel only ecu.

Thanks and sorry if this is a pointless thread. Just looking for simple answers

You can run the ECU as is. Just set it to trigger from optical/dizzy, jump XG1-XG2. You'll probably need a 10K resistor in series with the coil input to prevent noise spikes.

That's basically it. It will even run on the stock B&G code though I don't know why you'd do that. Load MS Extra of course. You can run the two injectors just fine.

My first ever MS setup on a rotary was an MS1 on 2.2 board set up exactly the way I just described. Ran B&G code for a while for some reason (I don't remember).

Thanks Aaron I was hoping you'd reply to this haha. Once I get this setup going, I'm going to build a budget itb setup using racing beat upper dcoe manifold, stock se location injectors, and early ford bronco/fseries mpi twin non injector 51mm throttle body (iac and tps factory equipped). BBK has larger ones as well $350 range. I can machine the adaptor plate myself and I have dimensions for both patterns and sizes. Bore spacing is difference is only 8mm.
