I am interested in getting an a MS fuel only ecu , and before you ask why not go full on with fuel and ignition I have my reasons on the car I am working on. Problem is what unit do I need to purchase as I am a bit confused ? what do they recommend for a fuel only ecu for a rotary ? anything that I should look for ? Its for a standard 4 port NA 13B ( rx4 vintage) it might get a mild street port and has the usual exhaust mods etc.

they all work on rotaries but a ms2 on a v3 board would be my choices,full control would be but like you said you have your reason for not going this way.

Any version of the Megasquirt on the V3 or V3.57 board will run fuel only. You just need to configure the board to trigger from the dizzy. Typically I find a 10K resistor needs to be in series with the ignition input to help with noise.

Why you'd want to do this, I don't know. It's only 7 more wires for ignition control.

Unless you are on a budget, stick with MS2 or MS3. You can run MS3 in upgrade mode without the MS3X since you can't run sequential injection while triggering from the dizzy.
