you know when you tap throttle to get car to move from a complete stop? whenever i do this the car just dumps fuel (u can see the black smoke out exhaust) AFRs drop to low 10s. i have tried changing numbers on the fuel map but nothing. Is there something else that controls this such as "ACCELERATION WIZARD"?

 

The accel wizard and the VE table together will cause/prevent this condition.

So how do you set the accel enrichments? I'm having a similar problem, but i'm not getting enough fule. As soon as i touch the throttle it wants to die with a load on it.

without a load on it it will rev but dies at idle.

 

Check out the section on accel enrichment tuning on www.megasquirt.info in the ms1 section. That'll give a much better explanation of it than I could.

Are you talking about tuning under the meganamual link? All i see is all the links under megamanual and tuning with megasquirt 2. I have read the megamanual front to back. Maybe my code variant is messed up but i still cant find the accell table.

That's the exact link. I'm not sure why you can't find the Accel tuning screen... it's labled "Accel Wizard" I believe, although I'll check it when I get home.
