dash pots adjustments explained ?

hey guys ive been searching for how to adjust the dash pots on the ms1 extra manual . is the link/page broken I cant seem to find it.
i had used a modded cas with cut teeth and worked ok ,but desided to go back to stock cas no missing teeth with 2nd vr .the car did start and run . i have a few other things to iron out but overall works good.I have them on default full counter clockwise . i just need a link if anyone has it thanks .
my specs : ms1 extra 29y4 stock cas

First, they're not "dash pots" they're "potentiometers." A dash pot is the linkage that holds the throttle slightly open just after you let off the throttle for emissions purposes.

Second, fully counterclockwise is fine if it's working.

Thanks for clearing that up Ken. But is there a way to adjust them or more details for adjustment I fell as if it struggles at times to count the teeth.? I'm currently redoing the wiring . But would my msq help determine if it would cure it?

Worth noting that the multi-turn pots supplied in my kit are different from the ones shown in the instructions.

The directions on how to orientate them during assembly were ambiguous and I took a guess but it turned out I put them in the wrong way. The impact of that is that I needed to adjust them opposite to the instructions, i.e. fully clockwise.

What is it doing that makes you think it is struggling to count the teeth?

on the 11th or 12th tooth count the square wave would be higher then the rest where I think its showing me the 2 tooth wheel . that normal or cross talk ? found this link that I have been using .Adjusting the V3 Main Board VR Input Circuit Potentiometers

The square wave should be the same for all pulses. Are you talking about the signal directly from the CAS? Is the engine starting and running OK? What is the actual problem with how the engine is running?
