Cruise Question

I am working (slowly) on getting Megasquirt in my 87 TII, using Aaroncake's guide. I have the unit itself assembled and am currently removing the stock EFI harness from the car. When reading ahead I noticed that I will be reusing the wiper motor and water temp sender wiring. However, when pulling the harness from the car I saw that the cruise control plugs into the harness as well. If I want to keep cruise control do I just need to keep those wires in there as well, or is there no way around losing it? From the cruise control writeup on Aaron's website it looks like there is a separate computer for cruise on the driver's side kick panel, but I have read elsewhere on here that it is controlled by the ECU.

Yes, you would need to keep the cruise control wires. The cruise computer just needs to see the speed sensor from the cluster so it will function without the engine ECU.
