Couple of pre start questions S4 TII

I have a S4 TII rx7.
I am following aaroncakes guide on how to megasquirt an rx7 fc.
  1. On the Engine and Sequential settings tab, there is something called required fuel. How do I size this to my current injectors? I have 775 primaries and 1050 secondaries that I purchased from fuel injector clinic.
  2. What should my Rev limiter settings be? Spark cut for 8500 and fuel cut at 9000 like the guide? This seems high for a turbo S4 motor.
Any other tips and info that you guys have please let me know!

Click on the "Required Fuel" button. I have 550 primary, enter yours. That's it. I entered 14.1 for A/F which is stoich for 10% alcohol fuel at the pump. Wouldn't worry about spark/fuel cut rpms.

btw, I have the Microsquirt.

that is totally up to you, the stock fuel cut is about ~7800rpm, engine is ok for ~8500 or so. the stock ecu never does an ignition cut. it also is ok to start with the rev limit kind of low, and raise it as you know your tune is good, however you don't want it too low if you need to drive in traffic

i'd also set an overboost fuel cut, at the least you want to set it slightly lower than what your map sensor can read. for example, the FD map sensor reads up to 17psi, so you need to have overboost fuel cut lower than that, or the ecu will never see it
once you get tuned in depending on the setup, like injector duty and such, you might set this lower. also if you're tuning you can set this lower until you're sure the map is ok

Thanks for the replies, did they remove the option to set the rpm of the fuel cut and spark cut? I do not see it anymore. Im using the built in MAP sensor on the MS3x, think I should set the boost to 10psi or something?

at least to start with you want to make sure you have enough injector and that the AFR's are ok, once they are you want to set the limiter to either where you run out of fuel or map sensor, up to you.
not sure what it was running before but something like 10psi is probably ok
