I am able to connect my computer to the Megasquirt just fine and all but I can't send the file to the ECU. I have a Zeal PnP ECU, the first batch they did for the S4's. When I go to send the file to the ecu it says there could be extreme errors in sending and asks if I would like to continue. I have attached the file maybe somebody can take a look at it. I am a pretty big newb when it comes to tuning...

 

You are probably trying to load an msq created with a different version of the firmware than the one on the MS.

Do you know what firmware revision is on the MS?

Sorry, I just downloaded the lastest firmware so it would be 029y4.

 

Did you copy the ini file for that firmware to your car1 directory?

 

I havent installed the lastest firmware, I haven't had time yet to run to my car. I am currently running the 029q2 version. I am an absolute newb when it comes to tuning. It is one of the only things that I haven't really studied or worked with very much. I am going to do some reading up on this.

You're trying to send an msq to your MS, and it's running 029q2, but for some reason you can't send the file?

You need to make sure you have the ini file from whatever firmware version is on the MS installed in your car1/mtCfg directory.
