does the megasquirt display or read the boost level ?

 

Megasquirt reads the MAP pressure which will indicate a boost

 

Because I was looking through the gauges in tunerstudio dashboard and they have a couple different boost/vac gauges can any of these give me an accurate boost reading, without needing additional boards?

 

Yes they can.

 

Knowing just the basics of megasquirt will answer questions like that. The system will run off of Manifold pressure, Throttle position or both.

Read through the manual and FAQs before you bother looking at the software.
