hey guys long time no see:

OLD setup:
stock turbo2 /stock port motor
550 cc injectors all around
stock turbo
ms1 3.0 29y4
modded CAS cut teeth
db-37 was setup for the missing cas .

New setup:
i rebuilt the motor and it has a small street port
550cc injectors all around
stock turbo
ms1 3.0 29y4
stock CAS no missing teeth
i modded the db-37 for the stock cas signals.

i did the basic checks checked comp on the motor and its healthly. i got fuel preasure. im getting spark im a hair off i lined up the motor with the cas and i cant seem to get the mark any closer ... i cant move the cas any more. im looking up now how to change the spark timing in the MS.

Im running the same map that i ran the car before the changes BUT i did change the tooth count to the stock cas counts. 11,1,5,7 vs the missing.
i dont know if anyone knows peter florance hes been helping me with this and we are both stummped.

PS: when i let the car sit over night i thought i would try to start it to see if it would do anything.
after a few turns it started but only for a second then died again.

im not sure what it could be i dont know how to post my ms dataloggs on here.

any help would be greatfull guys . let me know if i missed anything.

 

mods you can delete this thread i had my primarys and secondaries where mixed up.... car is running now.

 

Actually, having this kind of post with you fixing your own mistake is worth leaving around for the search feature. It would be really easy to make this mistake and now people can find out what to do to fix it!
