adapter harness
I have a working MS1 Ver.3 that I ran in my 86 NA, and a new one with the MS2 chip. I assembled the harness adapter myself and everything worked well during the short time I had it installed.
My question is this, do I have to make any changes to the adapter harness or the MS1 to use it in my 1988 T2. I realize the .msq settings will need to be changed just wondering if there would be any changes needed to the adapter harness?
I use a modified CAS and assembled both MS units with shielded cable where needed.
I'm running a S5 stage two BNR turbo and S5 manifold. Racingbeat turbo back exhaust. I have four 750cc injectors and ran this year using an RTek 1.8
My best time is 12.8sec at 108mph at around 10 - 12 psi using 93 octane pump gas.
I ran it on a dynomax dyno and produced 275 RWHP with air / fuel at 11.4, 11.5 to 1, and that was with low compression on the front rotor.
I know with the standalone and a Kevin Landers rebuild that will include porting and 3mm apex seals I should be well in the consistent low 12's.
Anyone wanting to share their .msq I will be eternally gratefull.
