IT should work, but there's really only one way to find out.

Some people say that running a COP coils in wasted-spark configuration is bad for the coils though... when they "fire" into exhaust, it's essentially like shorting the coil...

should i run 220 ohm for leadings and 330 ohm for trailing or vice verser

pull up resistors ?

wont it affetctivley be running the same as using ignitors as the leading will still just fire together and have the trailing split ?

Yes, except that a wasted spark coil is designed to have one of its towers basically shorting every time it fires a spark where a regular coil is not.

I've never tried the setup you're running, so I'm unsure how large of a resistor you'll want to run. I would think you'd want more resistance there since putting two things with resistance in parallel halfs the resistance... you'll want more resistance on the resistor from the CPU to make up the difference.

You will probably want to run these as pullup resistors off the LEDs as the ms1 code has no support for running spark outputs "inverted."

say you're using vb921's... they provide a certain amount of resistance to ground.... Now say you wire them in parallel... Wiring 2 resistors of the same value in parallel effectively halfs the total resistance... If you're driving them from one output, that means you should make up for the halved resistance by doubling the resistance of the resistor driving the vb921's.

okay so in the schmatic i will use 220 ohm for leading (or should it be 440 ohm)
and 330 ohm for individual trailings

would you recommend different or could you recommend a set of numbers i could use here or a variety to try

i am gonna make an ignitor box for the vb921's like the microtech set up

also while i have you here what wires should i sheild prior to install and all things to minimise noise besides grounding

the 330's are fine for the trailing, but you need to use a 660 for the leading... That's pretty much what I was trying to explain above.

The only wires that are really shielded stock are the CAS and O2 wires...

If you're using a wideband and controller with it, then it should come with the shielding it needs, so you really only need to shield the CAS wires. For those it is best if you're creating your own harness to twist G+ and G- together, twist NE+ and NE- together, then wrap them in metal shielding and ground that in 1 place (not at either end, just 1 end), and then insulate the shielding from touching anything.
