2nd IAT sensor input.....is it possible?

I am using v3.0 w/ ms2e. I am using an air/water intercooler and I would like to measure inlet and outlet charge temps to help determine i/c efficiency, heat soak conditions, etc. Is it possible to add a circuit that will accept a second IAT sensor?

I'm not sure, I'd have to check to see if there's a spare ADC input you could use.

I'm guessing I will need an extra "gauge" in Megatune for it as well. I bet there are a few guys using MS that would like to look at dual IAT readings.

You're not the first person to ask, but it hasn't been one of those "everyone is asking for it" features.

Eventually, I plan on adding a second IAT input to ms2/extra, and using it to try to predict actual air temperature if the math is simple enough to implement on that processor.

Excellent Ken. I'm sure I speak for the majority of us when I say that you're a valuable asset to the MS and rotary community. Props to you for your time and dedication to the Megasquirt.

Wow, talk about digging up an old one.

I've not done anything with this, but you can log a spare ADC input.
