Megasquirt 13BT MS2 In a SA22C (FB)
13BT MS2 In a SA22C (FB)
Hi Guys,
Sorry if the question has been asked, I'm new to the whole megasquirt thing!
I recently purchased a FB RX7 that has a 13b Turbo fitted out of a FC3S. When it was fitted, they installed a MS2 ECU. I purchased the car as is to transfer all the gear over into my running car that's in far better condition.
Problem I am having here is with the coil wiring. I've been doing COPIOUS amounts of reading about the wiring and still haven't found many answers. The way it has been wired is right now it is running on leading plugs only (keeping in mind it is only running base map, not driving it) BUT they're running off a trailing coil!
Right now it the coil's have IAC1-A and IAC1-B running to them, IAC2-A and IAC2-B are twisted together and joined into one and are tied up in the engine bay, I have no idea why.
Car starts and runs fine but I would like to get the trailing system working. Am I going to run into big problems trying to wire in the leading coil and changing the trailing coil to the trailing plugs or is it pretty straight forward granted the board is made correctly?
I also ASSUME one of those IAC wires is going to be a spare?
I know it's hard to explain without photos but any help you can give would be great.
Thank you.
