Hello all,
I’m writing in a what’s becoming a pretty desperate search for some usable 12A housings. I’m in the process of having the 12A in my 83 GSL rebuilt and the builder (who I trust immensely) has informed me that out of the 2 motor cores I provided all of the housings are either damaged from apex seal failure of have chrome flaking too bad to be useable. I have thought about potentially moving to a 13B but I’d rather not. The daily cruise control and AC and I’d like to keep it as stock as possible. Hopefully some of y’all can help me get my car back on the road!

I have started to look into that possibility, but for some reason I’m very wary of it. I was talking to somebody at Goopy Performance but maybe I should ask Michael as well and just get some ideas to whether or not it’s feasible and how well it tends to work.
