Hey all, You are viewing a gorgeous S5 convertible with 46K original miles. I purchased the car a couple years ago with the intention of doing a TII swap, but it is in such amazing condition that I can't bring myself to tear it apart. I figured I would drive it until the motor went and then swap, but I actually found and purchased a TII Vert, so this beauty needs a new home. I am the 3rd owner and the gentleman I purchased it from owned it for 27 years. He purchased it from a Mazda dealership's showroom floor. I have a large folder of paperwork and maintenance history. The car includes the factory tonneau and targa bag. The car is completely original save for an aftermarket CD player and aftermarket speakers (everything Sony brand). The headrest speakers work as well as the wipers on all settings. No broken or cracked interior plastics and the top is like new. I'm fairly certain the targa section has never been removed as the plastic covers are still in place over the latches. This is my 3rd vert and I didn't even know there were covers there originally! There is a little bolster wear on the driver's seat, but it is by no means unsightly. I'll get some interior pictures up soon. When I purchased the car I did paint cleaning/correction and then I ceramic coated it. I added a trunk deck lid spoiler and installed new tires. It does have a few imperfections - a couple small dings and some touched-up chips on the hood and a touched-up scratch on the front fascia in front of the driver's side wheel. The front license plate frame covers a very slight wave in the bumper. I think the previous owner pulled too far into the garage and tapped something that caused the impression. The paint is completely intact the spot. I don't need a front plate in IN and it is hardly visible if you don't know it's there. I'm very discerning and meticulous when it comes to my cars, so I want to be as forthright as possible. This is honestly the nicest original paint I have seen on an FC in a long time. It gets looks, photos taken and thumbs-up everywhere I drive it. I run Idemitsu premix and 20w50 Castrol GTX. I have not done a compression test, but I do have a rotary compression tester, so I would be happy to do that for any prospective buyer. It starts hot and cold with no issues and runs absolutely fantastic, so I never bothered to do it for myself. The car is located in Middlebury, Indiana and I have a clean/clear title in-hand. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
