Nothing. Bit of elbow grease - and grease grease.
But it’s a straight swap. I’d just drop it off at a drivetrain shop and they can knock it out in a day or two.

some new bearings, seals, front collar spacer, end play washer, but the drivetrain shop doing the install can supply all that.
Since you’re asking the question, you’re not likely to have the tools and skill to install it yourself. It has to be setup properly with the correct play and tooth engagement.

I had the Spirit R 4.3 put in by our local tuner shop with great results. Shop owner is looking to upgrade from his 3.9 (out of a 1992 AT). But I asked about the 4.44 because. I understand it may be an RX8 part, so may have needed additional fitment. Another local guy did the 4.44 swap on his Type RZ and it really launches well.

The 4.3 and 4.44 are really essential IMO.
Just from the proposition of increased tire size. Moving from a 16in to an 18in scrapes ~5% off that rear gear, so a 3.9 is effectively 3.7.
4.44 would wake that car up considerably.
PM me and we can work out a shipped price. I'm in hardcore spring cleaning mode.
