For Sale
1990 Turbo Convertible $1500
119K on chassis
Probably less than 20k on engine (im looking for that info)
Black with black interior + Black tonneau cover
Body is in good shape with no major dings or dents.
Unknown make spoiler.
Side skirts.
seats are in fair conditions with the useual driver side wear.
Convertible top is fantastic! no holes or rips.
Targa is in fair condition. But i'll include the replacement covering with the car.
Under side of targa needs to have some of the fasteners re-attatched.
Carpet is good
Spare tire cover is good
fold up air blocker works.
Tires are toyo proxis
Brakes are cross-drilled in front with hawk pads. stock rear with cross-drilled for these in the trunk.
Wheels are generic but are pretty good quality
Engine was professionally built by a shop in puyallup
3mm apex seals.
The good
Rtek 2.1 with palm pilot
PLX wideband
s/x fuel pressure regulator
apex-i cone filter (really nice)
Racing beat turbo back exhaust
Cusco coil overs (unknow model)
Racing beat strut tower brace.
Previous owner told me there is a walbro in the gas tank but i never checked.
The bad
Car ran really rough the last time i moved it. Might be a vacuum leak. Might be 6 year old gas.
OMP doesn't work but the r-tek plus pre mix fixes that.
The really bad
While removing my acv to kill off one source of vacuum leak i might have dropped a nut down the turbo.
I havent turned the car over at all since then (or done anything really) so no damage shoud be done.
My spare turbo charger will also come with the car. So if you want you can pull the turbo and replace it and go from there.
Why so cheap? Im sick of it. I've owned RX-7 for more than 30 years and the joy just isnt there anymore.
I know i could solve the problems pretty easy and sell it for a lot more. BUT I don't enjoy working on them anymore so hey...
Seattle area
Thank you,
Ted
