Description:
Selling the Showa Bathurst coilover suspension setup off my FD. Very Good condition, no leaks, proper dampening, etc. with one caveat that the shock bump stops that are integrated in the hats are degraded and must be replaced. Options are new FD hats (they are the same part), or aftermarket. I was planning to go the aftermarket route as bump stops can be had for less than $40 but have decided to try a different suspension. I purchased these from a respected forum member and installed them in 2014 and they have seen about 4000 miles since so they are fairly low mileage overall. Complete with the upper rubber isolators and attachment nut used for OEM suspension but does not include the attachment nuts for the hats as noted in the photos.
Note that to adjust ride height, the springs need to be compressed and removed so it is a little more work than the average coil over.

The harmonic drive mechanism in the shock mechanically adjust sto rough road surfaces.
People often have replaced the OEM springs Twith Tien Tech S graduat4ed spring (4/10) which give a very smooth modern feel GT type ride.
Especially with stock 16" wheels and tires (225/50)
The OEM "normal" springs are a bit harsher, but improve handling.
If a shock ages out there are plenty of replacements.
