Description:

Survivor stock car

1994 Mazda RX-7
Touring (has R1 lip)
Red / Black Interior
Manual Trans / Sunroof Car
77k miles

I purchased this car a year ago to add to my collection and sadly am now moving across the country and need to reduce my count for new space I have

This is a clean (stock other than mods below) FD, high end driver or arguably low end of collector grade car

Prior owner had replaced all air lines, rear bushings, done the cooling cap modification, refreshed a few door seals, fresh rear bumper (have original) and generally just did a nice job keeping on top of the car and keeping it running well (have receipts)

When I purchased it - was shipped directly to SakeBomb with an open checkbook at 76.6k miles. They tested the turbo, tested compression, did a full PPI, did the supra fuel pump modification, and changed all fluids and gave me clean bill of health

I then replaced the tires, brakes, brake rotors, brake lines, brake master cylinder to refresh the braking system
I also replaced the original shocks with Fortune 500 coilovers and had it aligned.

Then it went to my mechanic who spent 8 hours checking every single bolt on the engine and suspension for factory torque spec - $1k bill bolt check

Then I drove it a bit

Then we decided to move and I am losing my warehouse space :-(

I am open to cash offers with low hassle.

Have stock wheels included and stock exhaust (has HKS carbon fiber exhaust on it which I kind of like, but wish the exit diameter was smaller)

I have an OG Momo wheel on it (rest of interior stock other than a boost gauge) - will include stock steering wheel as well.

Drives perfectly, brakes perfectly, turns perfectly!

This is for the buyer who wants a stock FD and wants to go drive it and not spend the $10k going through it. Its for the enthusiast who wanted this car when they were younger, but couldn't afford at this time.

I will be headed up to the warehouse later this week and can take more photos, but wanted to offer this up to the community before going broader

Very nice car. I have not heard of a "check every bolt" torque test. Have to add that to the must do list.

Good pick up without the BAT drama.

Thanks

I do this on all old cars I buy - one had a toe arm hanging on by a thread so it’s a worthwhile excercise!

This car seems to be a step up from recent cars of similar mileage that have been selling for between $40~50,000 on BAT.

Certainly worth a serious look.

FYI this guy committed to buying the car and literally disappeared off the face of the planet when I sent him my wire info. Had to inform police etc about my PII being taken. Beware.

Watch out for the low post scammers attracted to high ticket deals and asking for details.

I have had the same experience with guys with 100 posts and even some history of chatting.

Once they get your email, they can go on the dark web and see if any of your passwords have been leaked by sloppy websites.

Good to use different passwords for every site and change the key sites often.

Bothersome as it is, two step authorization is like here to stay.

Even so, the big 6 million users Facebook hack several years ago, the scammers had set up fake emails to intercept enquiries or the two step authorizations.

They would then ask for pictures of your ID saying , as facebook, they needed to check if you were not a scammer.
