Description:

I had some plans for this car but something else has come up and now it is for sale. 1994 Montego Blue. I bought it from the original owner. The car sat for about 12 years before i got it. I cleaned the fuel system and got it running. The car runs really good, Turbos seem to work correctly, transmission shifts flawlessly. The car will need the seats covered and paint. The brakes need some attention but it will stop. The car has a clean title and I do have a car fax available. The car is 100% bone stock with zero mods! The factory exhaust is still there along with the Bose sound system.
Asking $35,000

The paint and interior make it not a great candidate for me to flip and I doubt for Jim to part out. This is a great example that someone will have about $45-50k in once its sorted, painted etc. Still a decent deal by todays standards.

What is that technique the OG hotrodders use to preserve time worn paint?

Save this as an example of a true MB look as seen in the wild.

Seats, got to go though.

Perfect! Looks pretty complete. Attack it with some Mothers plastic/vinyl protectant (or similar) and a lot of it should come up looking pretty great.

Try some CLR metal polish on the UIM with a toothbrush.

Look forward to the next set of pics.

I would not recommend that. I highly expect it would struggle to crack $20k on BAT. You need to post on FB marketplace and understand its going to take a lot of cleaning or negotiating on your part to sell this.

I am open to reasonable offers but 20k would not buy it. I don't need to sell it. I just don't really have time to do the things it needs currently so I thought I would find it a new home. It really would not hurt me to keep it. I do realize that I priced it a little high, but I like to wheel and deal!! lol

Right, but at $35k asking price in that condition...... it's not going to have a next owner

Regardless, I have a friend on the hunt for an FD, I'll float this one by him
