You are not wrong. I am having second thoughts selling it now and am starting to want more money for it. I did not know how desirable this part is. Give me some time to think about it. Thompson did reach out to me first so he will get first bid if I keep the price at $70.
Too bad, dude that was a very inexperienced asking price bro. These guys should offer you a fair market offer of at least $150 minimum!

It's is different if someone is getting a good deal for themselves because they need it. Apposed to someone that knows it's a deal, and then just wants it to resell and make money from us.

Sometimes sellers will provide long lists of parts for sale.
These are usually very good for pricing discovery.
If a list sells out very quickly, even if asking prices seem high, it is a good indication of appropriate pricing levels.
Recently pricing on Ebay has become, in many cases, absurd.
I suppose any bargains get bought up very quickly.

I have decided to not sell the battery box for now. I did not realize the value in it and after discussing with some local friends, I want to keep it. I apologize for the heart ache and will be deleting the listing tomorrow.

Lids are available from Mazda. Amayama sells them for $40 and atkins $50 last i checked. (N3A1-18-593B)
The actual box tho is NLA so you have to find one used, and that is pretty hard since most of them have broken or been discarded after using non-oem battery sizes, mainly those not as tall as OEM ones.
