I'm currently in the market for an FD. I'm looking for a stock or OEM+ build. I would prefer most mods to be reliability mods, or at least revertable to stock if so desired. I don't mind rebuilt motors as long as they were rebuilt by a reputable shop (OEM spec, street port, or half/full bridge are all fine). I'm located in SoCal, but I'm willing to travel or arrange for shipping.
Some must-haves are:
5 Speed Manual
No sunroof/rear wiper
No rust/dents/other body damage
No crazy body kits (looking for OEM or OEM+; 99 spec conversion is ok)
No accident history/clean title
Here are some additional things I'm looking for but aren't deal breakers:
Montego Blue or Black highly prioritized
Black leather interior highly prioritized, cloth is also fine
Recent compression test, or willing to have one done
Having service records is a huge plus
Single turbo vs OEM sequential
OMP deleted or designated 2 stroke oil tank
Prefer to be less than 75k miles, but anything under 100k is ok
Would prefer LHD to RHD
Would prefer a car with no wing/spoiler, and no mounting holes
Would prefer a 94 or 95 over 93
Passes smog would be nice

Yeah man. Best of luck. That one is gorgeous. I was lucky enough that the guy who won the eBay auction on my car decided to back out of his purchase. If I were you I’d harass that dealership until they say it’s gone

Facebook seller flaked on me after discussing everything, but I found a black on black R2 thats super clean. This one is very promising; i'll update if things work out.
And the FD has been acquired! Picked up a 50k mile black on black '94 R2 from Florida and drove her home. Basically 100% stock besides leather seats and a head unit/sub in the trunk. She ran flawlessly the entire 2700 miles home
