Description:

i offer a set of rotor housings that are less than 4 hours from new that received very modest damage due to a shop welding on a manifold that was on the engine. no doubt a stray piece of the welding process entered the motor and scratched the housings. the shop followed that up with running the motor on the dyno with the decel fuel cut on thereby toasting the apex seals.

the motor is back in my shop not due to the scratched housings but due to warped apex seals.

needless to say the motor didn't deserve this. the FD belonging to this motor is no doubt one of the finest and most expensively built on the planet. while in my opinion, as well as Cam Worth who did a light hone on the housings, there is negligible effect from a power aspect the owner doesn't like the aesthetics.

and it is mainly aesthetics. most of the marks don't even catch your fingernail drawn laterally across the housing. none are deep.

since there are less than a few hours on the housings there are no chatter marks.
