Description:

I was living in a rental home the past 4 years with some friends, till in September they decided they wanted to get married and have kids. We had just renewed the lease a few months prior to that but if they moved out I couldn't afford rent by myself and was having issues finding new roommates(I even posted on reddit trying to look for random people) so I spoke with the landlord and he agreed to call it a 6month rental agreement instead(the house needed foundation repairs anyways before he could rent it out again) and I'd move out in Jan, with the agreement that I'd pay $150 a month for use of the garage to store my 86 FC because daily temps were getting around -20F and the car was on jack-stands waiting for me to finish a 5 lug conversion.

Well in April when it started getting warm enough, I went to the house and found everything in the garage gone. I reported it all missing and went looking around the local tow and salvage yards. I finally got word from a not so local friend (hour away) that they found my car and all the parts I had for it in a salvage yard, full of water. The subframe, trans, diff and suspension was screwed from being dragged off the jackstands, rear end ripped off and, the engine cracked in half from getting filled with snow and then frozen. Only thing salvageable was probably the front fenders, doors and hood.

I've had my FC for 11 years, it's gotten me through some ****, but that shell isn't worth repairing. I've tried looking on copart, bring a trailer, and etc but all I've seen are a couple of verts and a ton of overpriced FB/SA's on stealership listings.

Does anyone happen to have a rolling shell they'd be willing to sell? I'll take an SA/FB too.

I've got an 88 FC SE. I've been able to get it started, but I don't have space or time to work on this when I've got an FD taking my time and money. PM me. Of you are interested. I'm in Minneapolis.
