These were frequently changed. Do you know the part number of the one you want? It is usually on a white tag attached to the harness. Formally there are two main harnesses associated with the dash.. The dash harness (D) and the Instrument harness (I). Often people call the instrument harness the dash harness and the dash harness the firewall harness.

If you don't have an example, we might be able to guess which harnesses part number by knowing the VIN and the model type of the car.

There are dozens of different Dash harnesses.

I was told i needed to replace the dash harness that connects into the cluster. My ecu was tapped into a wire that goes under the steering rack and burnt up my harness so im unable to get my cluster to read proper mileage and have the gauges work. So im assuming it’s all the harness that’s within the dash not sure what that’s called lol I can check Pn# this weekend when i take it apart

I have one for a later model in case you were interested. It might need some configuring to match it to your model year but i cant say for sure

Insttrument panel has two plugs connected directly the (I) harness and two plugs connected through a sub-harness to the (I) harness.

The harness that connects to all the emmissions control solenoids is oftern called the "Engine harness" however it is actually the "Emissins Harness" The blue harness is the engine harnesses, connecting the charging system.

Magenta (Front Harness) (F) Green(Dash Harness) (D)

Yellow (Instrument Panel) (I) White- (Rear and door harness and other sub-harnessees)

I just sold a complete dash to a fellow who is removing his dash from a car wilh a very similar VIN to you.

He may therefore have the harnesses you need. I will have him DM you if he is interested.
