Description:

I need a clean, un-ported, not-rusty center iron for a 1st gen 12A.

I bought a rebuilt street-port engine and while getting ready to install it found a broken apex seal (saw it through the rear exhaust port).  Opening the motor revealed a mix of new and worn parts (all new soft seals but worn-out bearings and used apex seals with soft used springs).  My mechanic found the ports on the center iron are waaay oversized and will eat the oil control rings if I run it, so....  I need a new center iron to put this back together.

I have put about $15k into this car and the last thing needed is to drop the engine in, which I thought I was ready for.  Moral of the story is NEVER buy a rebuilt rotary engine off ebay.

Again,
I need a clean, un-ported, not-rusty center iron for a 1st gen 12A.

Thanks for replying. I picked one up tonight locally - If the shop finds anything wrong with it I'll get back to you.
