FWIW, I did a tan-to-black refinish of my FD's interior plastics with SEM paints, and the door sill trims are the ONLY pieces that have not held up well. Seems the constant rubbing from the tight door seals, and abuse from my shoes getting in & out abrades the SEM paint off.
