The OEM fuel tank is extremely shallow and the fuel pump and pickup are situated on the (LHD) drivers side of the car - in winding left-hand turns fuel can slosh away from the pickup and starve the motor. The Garage Alpha Hyper Fuel Baffle / Surge Tank Cover fits the OEM fuel pump as well as the Denso (Supra), Walbro and Bosch 044 pumps without any modification. Other pump configurations are possible to clearance whatever setup you have. The system works with every type of Mazda RX-7 [FD3S] including RHD vehicles."
