So, providing my mechanic (friend) and I finish the punch list we will start my car later this week. My original goal of driving for a couple months is now drive it for a couple weeks or ... a couple days. Then I will post a serious asking price with more HQ images.
For now here is the car while brakes were being done. One owner early VIN delivered fall 1978. Bone stock original, my first new car. Repainted to factory color when original paint died >20 years ago. No accidents, no dings, straight, no rust. 120k+ miles (lots of road miles, daily fair-weather driver). Always garage stored. Brown/tan interior.
Interesting Car Bob. Daytona Blue is a rare color. I've never heard of one with the Brown / Tan interior scheme before. Here in the US, some Spark Yellow cars came with them, but a Daytona car with that would be a first for me. It wouldn't also have keyhole rims would it? I recently saw an early Sunrise Red car with white / plaid seats which was also a first.

Though int. color gave me pause I had minutes to buy -or- pass and grew to like it (loved the blue from the moment I saw it). FWIW the salesman, a bud, was probably letting me jump the line to buy when #8 ...
More photos will have to wait until I can pose the car outside. Thanks all for your interest and support. ~ B
Do you still have the window sticker? Would be interesting to see the interior / exterior colors documented there with a pic. I've also been involved with these cars since their inception and it never ceases to amaze me the new things I discover about them, even 40 + years on.
Banzai: it's possible I have the window sticker, or a copy but ... not at hand. I was asked somewhere here about wheels and am loading a photo of the std rim (with new tire) and the engine bay (as is, no cleaning / dusting as of yet). BR, Bob
