Stuff came up so having to sell this unfortunately, Below are current mods on the vehicle and Pics.

ASKING 30K OBO

There are some dents on the driver side from the pervious owner and, front bumper has quite a few rock chips, rear hatch is faded. Interior is decent i do have the cover that is missing in the pics but it wouldnt fit over the JDM automatic shifter but it will be included with purchase.

Mods As of 8/8/21
Tein Coil Overs
17x9.5 Enkei RPF1 Wheels
Boost Gauge in A pillar
Fresh Rebuilt Engine from JLC W/ Stock Ports W/ Less than 2k Miles total on rebuilt engine (have receipts to show validation)
New Sending Unit

As of 8/12/21 It will have a new Head Unit+Door Speakers in it But if bought before then can choose if wanted or not,  will cost 1k Extra if wanted had it scheduled and paid at car toys before my incident.

There is a Boost leak i believe as some times it wont make boost on throttle but other times it will or it will only make 5PSI but the engine itself is good and turbos were checked and in good condition but i haven't had time to pin point where its leaking from. drivers door catches lightly when opening on front fender.

I’d do $12k cash and you don’t even have to worry about shipping.

that is way to low for me to sell it, got double that invested into it, lowest I would even consider is 26k

I'd recommend you try to fix the boost leak and clean it up a bit. That will help you hit the price point you are after.

Idk. He said the least he’d consider is 26k. I have a hard time equating the value of this auto to the most recent BAT automatic sale(Just a personal opinion): https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1993-mazda-rx-7-141/

Neat to see an FD with higher mileage. Shame about the body damage. GLWS.

Folks,

Just a thought… Seems we are heading the way of Facebook with some less than positive responses to fellow member for sale ads.

At OP wishing you the best of luck on your listing. GLWS!

Haters gna hate wen they can't afford a fd.
Maybe post details of the rebuild. What was reused, what brand parts installed, new bearings, builders side seal clearancing, end play set at, and pictures during the rebuild process?

Biggest issue is the body damage, but honestly... here's a point of reference: https://www.ebay.com/itm/12484216173...p2047675.l2557. That's a rebuilt title roller with no engine/trans, primered panels, etc. and it sold for 16k. Seller is asking a fair (ish) price for what he has. Honestly, getting that damage fixed would sell the car quicker for sure and may be worth the investment, up to the seller to weigh that decision, but the days of 15 - 20k clean title FDs are, essentially, over.

I thought it didn't sell, looks as if it was reposted currently at 10k.

Best shot at getting 20k+ is to get the body work done. The rebuild is definitely a plus.

Autos just don't have anywhere near the same demand as a manual.

Im going to clear some things up for people replying to this.

1. For the people saying "Wah 30k for an FD is too much yada yada yada" I mean yeah 30k for somebody who ISNT serious about buying an FD thats alot but for serious buyers thats actually not alot considering its pretty much bone stock so you have free reign to what literally what ever to the car.
2. Im asking for what i am because i know what the car is like ATM, I literally cant afford to go lower and serious buyers will have that kind of money for a CLEAN BODY FD minus a few dents.
3. I under stand where people are coming from with the dents but WITH the dents i would argue its worth what im asking, IF i were to get the body done add another 8-10k to the price, See where im coming from? Makes no sense spending another 10k so now im invested 35k into this car to turn around and sell it AT A LOSS for 26k.

THIS CAR IS STILL FOR SALE FOR SERIOUS BUYERS. Please message me if serious about buying the car otherwise i will assume its not a serious inquiry.

Thanks for Viewing my post,
SR

That's the issue, just because you have $35k invested doesn't mean the car is worth that. It may be one day if prices keep skyrocketing. But there are 2 recent examples of an FD auto going for $25k and $26k, and they didn't need all the work this one does.

Either way, I do hope you get high 20's for it. That's good for all existing owners.

I think the recent sale of Banzai Racing's Black Auto FD is a good proxy for the market:

https://www.proxibid.com/Vehicles-Ma...ation/62887344

Considering that build, color, and condition, the first offer in this thread may not be too far off.

Those are some serious dents man, not just little door dings. If you’re not willing to accept a loss on the car, then keep it until the cars appreciate more.
