Description:

I'm selling a used Megan Racing AL radiator that came with my FD when I purchased it. Asking $50+ shipping expenses. When it was in my car, it was mounted in a more upright than OEM stock orientation with a ginormous FMIC which I already sold. Anyway, this radiator doesn't leak and is in decent shape, though fitment in the stock OEM configuration isn't perfect - you may need to tweak the fan mounting tabs, and trim a little bit off the bumper rebar to make is fit right.

So will this fit in the stock location? I have a stock mount Peter Ferrell super sea intercoller and the battery is relocated to the back of car

Short answer is you'll need to do some modifications to make it fit in the stock location. When I got the FD, the Megan radiator was installed in an almost upright orientation, with a front mount IC and no A/C condenser. Fits great that way, and did a great job keeping coolant temps in check. But I started modding the FD to be a bit more street friendly, and tried to get it to fit in the stock orientation, so I could restore A/C and switch to a large core SMIC setup. To make the Megan radiator fit that way, you would have to grind off a little material from the bumper support/rebar so the Megan radiator will drop into place in the same orientation as stock - the radiator tank interfered with the bumper rebar on the side where the upper hose is. I decided not to hack up my bumper, so I bought a new Koyo N-flow, which does drop right in. Here's a picture of my attempt at getting it to fit - you can see the simple strap bracket I fabricated that the Megan was supposed to drop into, and where it interfered with the bumper rebar to get an idea how much to grind off to make it fit.
