Original Mazdaspeed Titanium Handbrake. OEM+ goodness!
It came off my '92 FD after I imported it from Japan. I've kept it in a box for years, but I don't think I'll ever use it. Time for someone else to enjoy this rare Mazdaspeed gem!
Free shipping in Canada & 48 lower states.

Genuinely curious: How could someone verify it is a true Mazdaspeed ebrake handle? There are no markings that I’m aware of. GA, for example, appears to sell an exact replica at 80% less so wouldn’t it be easy to pass off a replica as genuine? I’ll never understand why Mazda didn’t put markings on this or the CF ones
The GA replica's button doesn't stick out as much, has a bit more of a square edge around it and has more of a shine (even though it's matte silver). I can't say why Mazda never put any marking on it, which would have been great. This is a rare item that doesn't come by very often as opposed to the replica that's very easy to obtain at the moment.

Reason: added info.
By no means am I trying to insult you or trying to put your post down. I think the price is a bit out of whack though. For something that is literally a handbrake cover you replace from the original plastic one. I do admire how you incorporated the entire handbrake assembly and making it seem as if it's a super rare piece. However, as far as I know, it's just the end handbrake that gets changed out. How do I know this? Because its the same piece I changed out on mine.
However, I didn't want to have it look so dull or plain. Since it's suppose to be real titanium, I also didn't want to deal with the scorching heat whenever I do leave my car out in the sun (rarely happens but still trying to undo a handbrake or change a gear can get a little entertaining to say the leaset.. )
Good luck with the sale though. Personally I think that cover, being real titanium and a rare mazdaspeed part, max $300US would be way more than fair....

Thank you for your input. I honestly kind of ballparked it. I saw one that sold on Yahoo Japan about two years for 800USD. I figured I could try my luck. I'm opened to offers and at the same time, I would like to get rid of it asap. Too bad you can't edit the price once the listing is online. Cheers!
Agreed on the need for a major price reduction. As Neo stated its' primary function serves as a cover and just because you saw someone somewhere price gouging doesn't make it a good idea.

GLWS!
Noted. Thanks for heads up. My intention was not to price gouge. Is there a function to edit the original price?
