I've seen plenty of broken down Toyotas in my family including '89 Camry and Corolla, and '92 Corolla and Paseo. All of them with overheating problems requiring new radiators and in 2 of them new engines.
That's a great comercial though, made in Puerto Rico (except without english subtitles), reminded me of home!!
