omg if anybody was watching it that 4th race launch by the fc made me pee my pants. Even before it went 2 commercial I was like poor honda haha what was that like 10 lengthz? I almost felt sorry for the honda, then ... I remembered.... it was a honda haha

anyways made my night, now I cant sleep haha. When my 88 GTU grownz up, I want it to be exactly like that 1.

I missed the part when it said what mods it had. I was just flipping threw channels and saw an FC and about choked on my snickers. haha They said durring the race that they were only running 10 lbz of boost but ... haha im guessing the way it was running, like a 20 year old V8 that it was P ported or something major. They also had a lot of trouble starting it when it was worm... *shrug* needless to say wow fast lil car. The last race was like the honda started 4 or 5 lengthz ahead, but before the honda could even get into second the FC was passing. .....

(come to think of it, how does someone that is 4 cars ahead, see the starter start the race?? ) hehe

 

That is an old episode ....just about a year old actually. But the FC I belive has a gt42r on it or something close too, it will def run 10sec. I also think it is ported to at least a half bridge if not more.

It was my car. I was the guy negotiating for us. My partner was driving. It was a GT45 turbo, and it ran 10psi of boost until the last run, and we turned it up to 12.7psi (which they verified after they lost because they didn't believe it) It was running my race port, and was built out of spare parts from customers old engines...basically the stuff I usually throw away It was really overheating badly since I was an idiot and wired the e-fan backwards. So it was trying to blow air through backwards in the radiator instead of pulling air LOL. The tune didn't have anything for hotter than regular temps, so it was pouring fuel itno it while trying to start that hot. Anyway, it was really fun, and we got $7K off their POS honda on ebay

 

Oh yeah, it was just a regular 1989 TII motor. Haltech E11v2, SpeedMachine manifold, twin 38mm turbosmart wastegaters, turbosmart BOV, act flywheel and clutch, some MT drag radials and that's about it
