Pretty much I don't know why people hate the supra community so much. I guess it's just jealousy over the car. I went with a supra over an fd had it for a year so now I'm looking for an fd stock or close to it. But if I was building a monster there is no doubt in my mind I go right back to the supra. 700rwhp on a supra is a pretty easy task and you don't even need to have a standalone system unlike the rx7.

 

Same reason Vette and Viper guys pick at each other. They are two compairable cars with similar purposes that are in direct competition with each other. Unless you're some sort of superfag liberal who thinks all competition is naughty and noone should razz the other...

And you're right, FD's are owned by real rotary enthusiast but supras are owned by men, men that they know they have a solid car they can call, a monster.

 

Cause supras are at the top of the pole man.

People aim for it cause they know they reign. Its like playing chess. You almost always go for the little guys first that you know you can take out, so you can save the best for last, a 1 on 1 battle.

FD's are good cars, im not saying they suck, some people on this forum are too stupid to believe that.

Im saying a supra in most cases are a better choice performance wise. Talking from a general aspect.

 

I'll admit my FD, FC, FB can lose.

Any day of the week, on a straight line yeah maybe a supra can beat me 6 out of 10 times.

But in a track, or on the street.
FD>Supra.

You can Work better with a supra's stock engine.
as a pose to a 13bre.

but lets say you dump 50,000$ into each car, without doing engine swaps.
FD(P-Port)>Supra all day. in straight line, on track, and on street.

now since most of us don't have that kind of money to support those mods, a supra is the best/cheapest solution to get a 7 or 8 second car.

50 grand into a supra without doing an engine swap? Ok thats good, their bottom end can support up to 1000hp. Some of that 50 grand can go into a TH400, a worked head and still have ALOT of money left over. A built auto supra? Forget about it, i wont even say anything.

You will NOT touch a supra on top end, you will not. People dont understand this.

To a considerable level, yes the FD will be better at the strip, you dont really need a ton of HP to run good times. The FD is already light weight. But on the street? What type of racing is done nowadays? Highway rolls right? From about 60-70mph+, the supra shines. Thats why i have said this before, even only a 750rwhp supra can keep up with a 1 liter bike. Its their powerband matched with the big single, matched with the getrag that makes it shine.
