so heading to hooters from union hill me and phoenix_95 as my "rio" (top gun term). were on a nameless street and theres a bike in front of me nad next to rx7vinnie (in his dodge) i take off real quick and run up on the bike not trying to invoke anything but then he takes off and i proceed to follow i catchup and then he gears down and gets ready im in 2nd gear about 4k andwe take off resulting in me ahead by 4 car lengths not bike lengths.. it gets better we go again and let me mention i have mike (phoenix_95) in my car too... and my boost controller on my low boost setting(10 psi max) he signals me to get ready again and i see him reach behind his left calf and ankle and screw on the nitrous bottle and he purges and we take off again and i still pull and take a 2 car lead.

i have witnesses but due to spur of the moment but no video or photos..sorry.

ps. my ankle is f'd up and i have pics of that.

the bike i will assume it was a gsxr 600 it was stretched witha dragtire and clean as hell black with chrome decals and a mid build black guy riding it.

i assume its a 600 since 750s are fast,but i dont know for certain. it was a gsxr 02-06

mods. not sure but this might need to be moved to black hole???

 

i dont know my power levels so dont ask. see sig for mods. all this @10 psi

 

Ill call bullshit on that my buddy just got a GSXR 600 brand new and i did a 50 pull with him and stayed with him untill about 110 mph and then he started pulling me. im only running 13 psi. there is no way your car can beat one let alone beat one using N02

 

bull ****... i have 4 witnesses. and one is one here right now its was pretty cold outside here in nashville tn may have been creepin a few pounds, but still pulled

 

Its true. I was right behind them. Pretty amazing, but his car is freakin fast.

^I'll probably belive him once the other witnesses chime in (no offense, but those bikes are pretty quick, especially with spray). Good kill if its legit though. Not saying its impossible, just improbable.

 

I don't think you would log on here to post lies or anything like that, and you might have actually pulled on him.....But this story has BS stamped all over it. like I said I won't call you a liar but nothing In this post adds up, witnesses or not...

 

BS: If it was a newer 600 you will lose bad. I get beat by 600s and my car is way faster than yours.

 

i dont know what to tell you but it happened. he was ready and didnt seem to have any issues. the spray is questionable...i never seen the bottle but he turn on something behind his leg????and i dont know what mods guys do to bikes, so if somone else knows something about bikes and can tell what he would be tuning on or off? my second guess was the air shifter bottle but i dont know enough about that stuff to know if you turn them on or off or whatever??

 

i believe you beat him...hell i beat an old 93 600 but im almost positive he wasnt a great rider....that and I took the jump - 3rd gear - 5k - running 10 psi

but like i said, i believe you beat him but he probably didnt know how to ride it.

BTW, i raced my buddys 06 suzuki 500 and even though its not that quick I walked him

 

this was an 05+ gsxr i know from the headlight. cc's im not sure of though so i just said 600 since idk if they make a smaller gsxr in those years

 

^I think they may have made a 500cc in that year.

 

I am pretty sure they never made a GSXR 500. They did make a GS500 that looks like a sport bike, but is pretty much a beginners bike.

And as far as other witnesses, they don't belong to this forum except for Vinnie and he isn't on here much.

 

Its more hard to believe than anything. I raced a 600 on spray in my honda at 500whp from 70 in 3rd and lets say no chance. With him spraying and me brake boosting he still took me. He beat me by more than 2 cars. My .02 cents is that he didnt know how to ride. Either way nice kill!!!

 

If it was an older 600 im sure he would be able to take it. With a NOS kit, its a little hard to believe, but maybe.

PD viper: I dont understand how you lost to any 600cc's. You make 50rwp more than i and i have yet to loose to any newer 600cc. From your videos, i dont know if you broke boost the car or not, but for me thats the biggest help.

I have only lost to a modded 07 CBR600 and a modded 06 GSXR1000. I have destroyed the following: 98 Ninja 750, 03 RC51, modded 03 GSXR750, and an 06 R6. Oh and I have been in school in FL. Yo I am coming home for 3 weeks in december and that is when i am finally doing my Cobra 8.8" rearend swap. I am also doing a new methanol system and plan to run 26-28psi on PUMP GAS. **** C16, its too expensive. I am also installing my bushing kit. Then I wont be home again until MArch when Steve Kan comes back to retune my shitbox.

 

If your best is only 11.4 in the 1/4, I'd be very surprised if you pulled on an 06 R6 with a competent rider. Ricky Gadson, on an '05, did 9.98 with just a sprocket change and front tie-downs. Most competent riders can put theirs in the high 10's, with the first gen R6 riders running low 11's. Not saying it didn't happen, just saying that R6's are normally faster than that. I'd also have to say to the OP that something had to have been wrong with the bike, as the GSXR's run similar times to the R6's.

 

racing at the track and from a 40 roll on the highway are two different things once you get over 100mph or so a high powered car takes an advantage... i love it!
