i was on my to work the other morning, and a mini cooper s came up beside me, driving aggresivly. We ended first cars at a 2 lane turn signal. So i made my way through the turn, and once we were both straight, we punched it. He pulled away for a second, then i spooled up and put about half a fender on him. Then i shifted to thrid, and held my few feet to victory! lol. this was my first "kill" in the 7.








oh! by the way......


i only had one turbo working! lol. and had to shift before 4500rpm to keep it spooled!!! haha

 

i was about to say you should have destroyed him much worse than that. But with one turbo I understand. Get that turbo fixed.

 

the mini driver probably thinks his car is almost as fast as a 7 now! way to bring his hopes up

 

I would love to see his face when he meets a properly tuned Twin Turbo: "What what the **** just happen?"

 

^ yeah. thats why i didnt like doing anything up until 2 nights ago....when i fixed mine, hehehe. well... i still gotta tweak my prespool controller(hope thats all) cause im now making about 10-4/5-7/8...somewhere around there.


I think this guy goes to work about the same time as me....boy, is he gonna be surprised now!

 

i raced one a long time ago, maybe 2 years back, i was on my TII getting out of college and i saw on my rear view mirror a car coming in fast, after it was a llittle closer i noticed it was a mini cooper so i downshifted( he was already with good speed) and accelerate, because he already was coming fast i started like 2 cars behind, i gained groung pretty fast to 1 car and a red light caught's us, i thought to myself "hell yea a good car to race after a long time" so i got my passenger window down and asked him to go from a dig, lol he told me if i was turbo and i replied yes and then he told me he had something broke, don't remember what it was but he said he couldn't go from a dig so i sayed let's go from a 1st gear roll and he also denied. i really think he got scared of losing and made up his broken thingk but ohh well.

mods at the time were: rb exhaust, running 12 psi, turbosmart bc,safc 2, spalm e-fan,tid mod, walbro 255fp. i was pushing 220whp.
