Got in two races last night hahah, this **** never happens to me. I picked up this Mkiii turbo supra a couple weeks ago and haven't really driven in much untill last night. It's got basic mods, intalke exhaust and the waste gate is shimmed to about 9psi. So, I took it out last night to pick up a six pack and some smokes and pulled up next to a mid 90's ish Civic with an exhaust and some heavy looking chrome wheels. I was kinda looking at his car and he looked over and reved a little, so I reved back a little and dude get a real serious look on his face. So the other light turnes yellow and the civic guy brings his revs up real high, like 6k or some **** it sounded like, but at the same time he starts rolling backwards because we're on a little bit of a hill. WTF? By the time our light turns green he's rolled almost all the way behind me! Anyway he dumps the clutch and ******* frys the fronts. Now I'm not very savy when it comes to launching a heavy *** car with alot of turbo lag so I just roll off the line then punch it. By the time he hooks up and pulls a little more than even with me, my turbo finally spools up and I walked him through first second and half of third. I backed off hit the flashers and waved when I noticed a big *** Dodge dulley comming up on me QUICK. He pulled out next to me and I rolled on in third a little and so did he. His turbo was ******* LOUD. We messed around like that a little bit and then hit the next light. Long story slightly shorter, he ******* mauled me across the intersection (and I launched a little harder this time) he almost had a car on me by the time we hit the far side. I hit second and it felt like I was gonna start pulling him in but I had to shut it down half way through and turn off.


It was a fun night..............

 

Nice kill on the civic.

When it comes to those diesel trucks..they are no joke at all. Have enough torque to move mountians. You would have made short work of him on the top end though.

nothing wrong with flashers, i would put them on if i killed a civic just to **** him off

 

going to have to agree, if someone hits the flashers to signal a race or win or anything other than distress, severely reduced speed under limit, or broken parts they fall into the ricer genre.

dont know much about flashers unless broken down haha. Had my 94 since August and not one race, attenpted race or anything resembling a race. WTF? I guess my town is just gay.

my friend did the same kind of kill in his mk3 turbo..bone stock and he just wasted a civic.
