Killed a Celica alltrac/GT4

Whichever one the flip up headlight-generation celica was. It wasnt even really a race, he just tried to jump me at 30 mph or so, but I saw it coming and pwned him with a quick 3-2 downshift, and shut it down at the end of third. Must have been 2 or 3 car lengths between us at the end of it. And, I had just picked my freind up from the airport, so I had him and all his luggage in the hatch. I did see his crazy blinking bright red shift light going off though, so Im assuming he was ramming it out. Not a very impressive kill, I know, but you dont see those cars everyday and Ive always kind of liked them, so it was neat. Good times.

There's a fast one in Fort Wayne.

And a REALLY fast one in Indy.

The one in Fort Wayne is white with bronze te-37 style rims.

st165=4th gen, IIRC. I used to have a 5th gen, and I think that was an ST185.

Congrats on the kill, btw. I like those cars, even if they're not REEEALLY fast. haha
And if I recall correctly, they made both 4th and 5th gens as All-Trac models with pop-ups. in Japan, 6th gens were made as All-Tracs, as well.

Correct, and close.

Technically, the ST165 has a 1st gen 3sgte in it, and is considered the first gen AllTrac/GT4, but they're on the 4th gen celica chassis, and it's much easier and simpler to remember it as such.

6th gen (ST205) was never marketed as an AllTrac. Just GT4. Alltrac is specific to North America. But now i'm just nitpicking.

I'm glad you like them. I wish i had my ST185, still.

Got any ideas where i can find a clean Turbo II?

I've always wanted a GT4 so I could turn it into a rally car with those giant headlights on the front.

I've always REALLY wanted a 4wd celica since rallying in a FWD would be next to impossible. The local SCCA guys apparently rally, but I don't know where and haven't really looked too far into it.
