I love mustang owners.

Well here it is another race in my daily driver honda...Well it was saturday night it was all of us just hangin around the garage drinking some miller's when my buddy's uncle next door came over with the biggest grin on his face..he says to me "hey im ready to cook that rice on my blower" I look at him and laugh "oh really? you finally got that chitstang running?"....He then looks at me with the most pissed off face ( I've known him since im 4 he loves his car and had it since way before I was born). So I start laughing and tell him to calm down. He then tells me "boy you talk so much Sh*it so put your money where your mouth is with that rice beater"...I laugh and tell him "ok unc 100 bucks?" he tells me "fine I need that money for a new belt"...So I get in my rice beater light her up and let her warm up for a bit....He then fires up his mustang and all I hear is him revving it like he stole it...Does a quick burnout and exits the alley...I follow suit...Everyone that was with us which included both his nephews and a few cousins of mine...so it turns out to be 4 cars and one bike. We get to the spot he does his burn out and I do mines....The bike goes ahead of us to mark off the 1/4 mile and his nephew comes up to flag us down...I leave my boost on "low" which is 22 pounds at around 500whp...I bring my revs to 6000 to bring my 2-step to life...1....2....3...dump the clutch and were off...He gets the jump on me and scares me when he start's going side to side....8800 comes by slam it into 2nd...were still neck and neck....8800 comes again and I slam it into 3rd....and instantly start walking him...8800 comes again slam it into fourth and I'm ahead by around 3-4 cars as told by my buddy in his gixxer that was waiting at the end. We turn around and get next to each other he tells me "man my tranny is shot"...I tell him "keep the 100 bucks you owe me fix it and come get ya *** handed to ya again by the rice beater"...he looks at me pissed off and rips outta there leaving 10 foot rubber marks....We get to the alley and my buddy in the gixxer tells me "damn man I didnt know your car was that fast I thought people were lying about it"...I laugh it off and tell him "its not that fast until I can beat you on your bike"...he looks at my car then at the bike and says "dude you'll NEVER beat a bike with your honda"..I laugh and tell him "tomorrow were racing then"...He laughs and says ok...So fast forward to sunday night and he calls me around 11 pm. He asks me if were still running I told him sure. He tells me that his buddies wanna run too. I tell him its fine that we can run it just has to be on the highway. We meet up at his cousins house chit chat for awhile and head off....So heres the match Me in my h22 built civic 28 pounds at this time 634whp on race gas...(give or take a few hp gotta look at the dyno sheet)....Then there was a 01 gixxer 1000....and a 750 i believe not sure didnt take a good look at it. So were crusing at 60mph me with open downpipe and c16 in the tank with my eyes burning from the smell..I look over and tell him 3 honks....He nods and so does the other guy....I downshift to third and they downshift also....beep....brake goes on..beep...gas gets floored and boost needle touches 30...beep...we're off...I take off on the 750 and me and the 1000 has about a bike length on me....I take it to 7500 and powershift into 4th....I jump on him and now have a half car on him...slam it into 5th and stay with the half car lead on him until about 150-155 when he passes by me limpin...at the end he was VERY surprised that my car beat him...He said he took it to about 180-190 before he could start passing me..I thought I had half a car he said it was more like a car maybe a car and a half...I was very impressed with my car dammit now I really want a FD again I want to go to 180mph Sorry for the long story and I know its a honda in a 7 forum but im at work and decided to share my weekend with ya'll :-D

Have you ever run a modified FD with your 600 hp honda? just curious.. I once also had a well built 93 hatch with t3/t4 and dynoed at 350 + but wow you got a beast out there anyway, good runs & good kills!

136 mph trap speeds are seriously fast. You're faster than 95% of the street driven cars on the road if what you say is true. Post pics or something I was thinking of doing an EK hatch sleeper style, turbo K20

well, i'd say he is faster than over 99% of street-driven cars. 95% = 1 in 20 cars. i'd say almost all of us fd owners are faster than 95% of street-driven cars.

Thats pretty respectable a friend runs a hatch with the ka n/a motor and runs 10.90's. If he can back it up on the track during a sancsioned event he would hold the record in the states. This is in the street class not the pro class.

I love reading your kills man. Seems like this little Civic is invincible!!! Mind me asking how much all the work cost to build it to this level?

Not a big fan of the K-series. I mean they make good power real good power but for the cost no. Id rather go H-Series or even B-series

Thanks man...but wow honestly I've never thought about the money. Id say at least minimum 12 thousand. I bought the car stock for 2 thousand. Motor was 2500 and so on from there. I dont think I've bought anything that hasnt cost me at least 500 bucks. Yea it sucks but I love me EK its fun to drive. What isnt fun is finding traction.
