Got beat by WSG6

Man this thing was fast wasn't quick but it pulled on me like no-other.... o_O
I'm guessing it had atleast an exhaust and some other work. Here's the story* I was going to get some dinner, and pulled onto the freeway, I notice two sets of headlights behind me one w/ a brighter than usual headlights set and a set of HID's. The brighter car pulls up next to me and revs, this was the WSG. I rev back and shift into 3rd we're going about 75mph at this moment. He pulls into the car pool lane and guns it, as do I I start to pull on him going into 4th hit about 100+ then all of a sudden he pulls forward on me like he has squeeze or something... I just curious what kind of hp do these push stock and slightly modded

LS1's pull hard in the upper gears. Many years ago when my mustang was close to stock I could hang up to about 70, then after that they would just rape me. 15k later, its a much different story.

I've raced a few, lost as many races as I've won, frankly. I would get STOMPED from a dig, I know that.
Not a bad death, those are tough cars.

dude..its not rocket science...he squeezed. u were pulling him alittle all of a sudden it just took off. whats the problem? where is your confusion?

btw there is no way an exhaust only ws6 is gonna pull a fd like that. i beat a ws6 when my car had dp only, he was stock.

i also walk a full bolt on with cam ws6 easily. its quite simple actually. my car makes 360 with stock twins stock motor weighs 2700lbs. ws6;s with all the boltons and cam GENERALLY make 390-400rwhp and are heavy pigs. i hate those cars.

dude relax... I've driven quite a bit just haven't had experience racing against those, not too many of those running around this area... why are you so mad? It's not like I'm a confused little kid, I just asked a question. I was thinking he might have squeezed I heard his exhaust pop quite a bit when he left of guessing from the left over fuel. I usually don't write my kills/deaths on here unless it was an interesting one.

Exhaust only ws6's trap in the 107 range. Thats about 5 mph over a exhaust rx7.. Especially up top where weight plays less of a factor, I can definatly see it happening.

Yeah wait until you run one with a nice set of head's.

They are turd's but for some reason they pull hard in all gear's.

i had a little race with a ws6 not to long ago....he had full exhaust and intake so nothin to much but man those things got torque.

I ran him from a 1st gear roll....stupid, although with the very short gears I had to shift sooner than him so he pulled a car, minimal if any pull in 2nd and 3rd were even with me slightly pulling.

I only got the 1st gear roll and 2nd gear roll on video..but on the highway were about even

I currently run 9 psi with a spike to 10, smic, high flow cat, dp, cb, 9lb fly, hot air intake, and thats about it. I had and still have a bad breakup/power cut issue around 6k in 3rd and 4th but if very inconsistent. I would say it feels like fuel but my boost is 9-10 psi

overall i was happy, especially the 2nd gear roll...hung with him better than i would of thought.

PFC, midpipe, and more boost.......HERE I COME
