Godzilla's first kill with new engine, rx-2 vs 2180cc bug.

Well second day getting the rx-2 running, so went to get some gas as it was getting new empty. Well on the way there a very nice bug was next to me. He gave me a thumbs up and I did the same, then gave him a little rev.
When the light turned green we went for it. I had 2 passangers, he had one. He got me on the launch as I have the stock tires, about 4" wide and open diff. He had me by about 3 car lenths in first ( I was about 3/4 throttle to keep from breaking traction), By the end of second I was about 2 car lengths of head of him. I flew by as if he were standing still, By the end of third I was about 7 car lengths ahead.

He drove up to me and gave me a big as thumbs up with a big smile. We pulled over and talked for a bit, he had a fully built 2180cc engine.

God I love my car with the new engine. Although It should be alot more fun with my new tires, 15X9.

My car mods are, agresive street port, 3" turbo back exhuast, FMIC, haltech, wablro fuel pump, hatech e6k and few more goodies. I was running stock boost at the time with a overly rich map.

Nope, just a base map richened up so I don't pop anything. I'll dyno tune some time next month when I actually have wheels to put the power down. Right now any time I get into boost at wot I just brake traction.. 4th gear, punch it at 4k and hit full boost it just breaks traction. hehe

But yea, as it is now should be putting an easy 200 to the wheels. Shooting for 270ish rwhp on stock turbo.. then 400 on garret 60-1... but the stocker should be more then enough fun for now. I get full boost right away with no lag, get full boost in 1st by 3k and so far don't seem to be getting any boost creep.. but really haven't pushed her yet.

I'll post some vids soon. I also raced my buddies g35. I had major traction problems... in first I just spun and had to let off in order to grab.. by that time he was about 5 cars ahead, in second at 3/4 throttle I caught up to about 1 car lenth, and in third at wot with full boost got about 1 car lenth ahead then let off as didn't want to go to fast, I was still spiining a bit in third but manged to pull ahead, this was done in a lonely industry section of the city.
