We had just finished tuning after I got my 1600 secondaries installed, and was on the 101N going home(it was like 3am). My exit was coming up but I was just passing a silver 93-ish 5.0. The car looked nice, real sleeper. It had an upgraded exhaust, was lowered a little and had semi-wide tires.

Just as I nosed past him, I let off the gas just a little to see if he was gonna bite. Elliot was with me and said' "your gonna miss you exit"

I replied, "Hold on, I think he wants to play"

"OH!" he said.

So the stang pulls up on me and we hang even for a couple seconds, I couldn't see the guy because his windows were tinted WAY dark.

Anyway, he starts to pull on me, I drop into 4th and stay about even with him. Once he guns it, I hit it too. I pulled my bumper ahead of his and continued to pull ahead of him steadily.

I was probobaly at about 60% throttle. I bumped it up to about 75% just to get a nice distance on him, then I saw his nose drop. I let off to get the next exit and he flashed his lights at me as he past by.

I gave him a thumbs up and got off the freeway.

 

Nice, don't blow up your **** though. Make sure its broken in properly and tuned right.

 

thanks, the first thing I do after a mod is tune for saftey. Then I'll go back and fine tune.
