'95 Civic EX VS. 05 Cobalt SS VS. 05 Civic Si

I got lined up on a 3 lane highway at a light with the Cobalt and Civic, both friends of mine. I took off normal, the Civic floored it, i look beside me and the Cobalt is at my bumper, i give it half throttle and he's still even with me, so i lay into it around 20 and put about 3 cars on him by 70. As for the Civic, i flew by him too quick to care. :P

I stopped to talk to him, i asked if he was even on it, he said "Yeah, but i had a bad launch", i replied "Oh, i didn't floor it until around 20, i didn't know you wanted to race".

I expected low 14s from my car, it's showing it could hit a low-mid 13 (especially if i opened my cut-out on my restrictive *** exhaust) no problem, i found Cobalts are a 14.5.

I'm currently still at 12psi, i've some bugs to work out before i buy a MAP sensor and raise it, i plan 20.

70s Italian wheels aren't cool enough?

I don't really care, they're better than the 17s that were on it when i bought it, i traded them for these. Kind of a dumb trade, they were Enkei, but i hate wheels bigger than 16s (16 is pushing it).

I wouldnt be too excited about beating the cobalt. Last time I was at the strip there was a pair of them there ( yes the supercharged SS ones ), that couldnt break out of the 16s, and were trapping high 80s, low 90s. Not saying that it wasnt mostly driver error... but still.

Yeah, i guess they definately couldn't drive.

2005 Chevrolet Cobalt SS 6.1 14.6 (C&D Sept '05), the other source i found said 14.5.
