ok first things first, 99-2002 cobras all had the same n/a motor, they did make a 2000 cobra, someone mentiond it being supercharged, no the supercharger wasnt brought into the picture on factory cars untill 03, and as far as this guy beating one off the line i doubt it. i use to own a 2003 mach 1 (same motor as the 99-02 cobras) 320 hp outa the factory and launches hard, im with the others on this being a "cobra" badged 6 banger peace of ****, god i hate posers. but if you truly did beat a "cobra" depending on the mods hed have you untill you hit 3rd when in my opinion the rotary starts to pull, are motors arent known for having a lot of torqe

There was no 2000 Cobra. Only the 2000 Cobra R, which didn't have the DOHC 4.6 320hp motor, it had a DOHC 5.4L 385hp motor.

You just wasted a whole lot of time trying to debunk that, when a 2 second google search proves you wrong.

its still a "cobra" noone said it had to be a 4.6, im not that big of an idiot, all we were talking about was a "cobra" they guy prolly raced an 01 and called it a 2000, but i doubt it was a cobra r

 

and congrats for being the "resident mustang guy" lol im a mustang guy for life, just hate those newer v6 and sohc peaces of ****, the 4.6 dohc was one of fords great acomplishments that motor was built strong and can handle a crapload of power i wasnt trying to prove you rong either for the record, buy hey no worries, a mustang lover is a mustang lover, its allgood

hey, i have a great idea since he already smoked a cobra, and i live in the chicagoland area i have a good friend that has a bone stock cobra with no mods at all will open hood. lets set it up to run and see if u smoke this one til 130mph. perfer money race but hey if your scared and rather go for fun thats fine. but if you lose you have repost and say like we all already know your full of ****. oh man this was good for a laugh, my buddys vert gt stang would romp all over a stock t2 and his stang is bone stock, theres no way he took a cobra much less a cobra r lol man this made my night lol

if its running stock boost on a bone stock motor it would. I havent seen a bone stock fc beat a stang yet, i've seen plent of slightly modded ones do it though the point here was not to start a new arguement in a dead thread leave it be you fast a furious kid

 

Rephrase what you just said. Stock boost on a gt mustang. Thats impossible because it doesn't exist. You're trying to say that a mid 14 second car will be a turbo II.
Sorry about that though, i have a mad hate for mustangs, don't like to see our cars get bashed when people dont even know what they're talking about.
