Descriptions and Introductions on SuperPro Performance Bushing Kit:

The Polyurethane that is specifically blended for the SuperPro product has mechanical properties that make is extremely successful in its application. The properties of extreme resistance to abrasion, low compression set, high tear strenth and a resistance to oils and solvents make it ideal fo automotive applications. These properties lead to a resilient product that is highly versatile in its applications.

The crush tubing is an integral component of the suspension bushing system and is necessary for free pivoting. The crush tubes are made to precision tolerances to ensure that the precise fits are maintained. All SuperPro tubes are made of STEEL & ZINC plated for corrosion protection and appearance. In some applications SuperPro incorporates end knurls and hardened tubes to provide positive location. As required SuperPro provides presion machined steel SHELLS to allow the installer to quickly and easily replace worn components.

When polyurethane is used to replace rubber in many suspension applications, it often has to accommodate large variances in tolerances.

Rubber is not a precision component and will compress or distort readily to allow fitment, which in turn creates binding of the bushings. This is one of the main reasons why SuperPro polyurethane is superior to rubber bushings, as they have a free pivoting point and not a torsion pivot like rubber. SuperPro had to develop a method of achieving the correct pre-loads while still accommodating a range of variances in sizes. Bullet grooves allow the bushings to flex and accept a much wider range of sizes while still maintaining free pivoting of the bushings.

We have a limited quantity in stock right now and ready to ship. We offer discounted WorldWide shipping rates. We also offer SuperPro Bushing Kits for other rotary cars (RX2, RX3, RX4, etc.) so please don't hesitate to contact us for your special orders.

Bringing this back to the top. Kevin - I sent an e-mail concerning missing bushings(the trailing arm bushing).
A note to anyone considering this kit - the kit is supposed to be the adjustable version - and has the upper rear control arms w/an excentric bushing center. There will be absolutely NO WAY to adjust this once you install it - it is a press fit, and you need to be sure of which direction you istall them. With the hole on the bottom, the arm sits a little higher, on the top, lower - w/minimal change to alignment settings. If you install the bolt hole center to the inside or outside, you are now changing camber or toe - camber if they are both installed in the exact same position - toe if there is any change from a pure 90 degree position.
Be informed. I did not catch the problem until I was ready to install them. I'm installing mine in a pure vertical orientation to minimize their impact, but it will have to be compensated via the toe link and the camber bolt on the bottom.

Update on that bushing from JKL Racing:

For the SPF2679K, SuperPro purposely designed it to have an eccentric crush tube for providing the ability to adjust the camber without the use of a camber adjusting bolt. The crush tube has an offset hole, so once the bolt goes through you can rotate it inwards and outwards by simply loosening it and pulling/pushing the tire. Its the same principle as the camber adjusting bolts that you would just turn, except the offset belongs to the crush tube instead of the bolt.

My understanding - which I'll be able to verify upon the finished install - is that the crush tubes,(centers), don't freely move. Based on what is above, it sounds like they move around.

The SuperPro adjustable kit is at least $20 more expensive than the non-adjustable kit that the other individual used to sell on the forum. We are basically throwing the adjustable kit in at an even lower price than the non-adjustable.

yep, you should be able to rotate it by loosening it and maneuvering the tire. Honestly, don't worry, we sold plenty of these adjustable bushings to all over the world and I believe that SuperPro sold way more, so it will work.

Let us know if you got any more questions!

No, SuperPro kit does not include the pillowball bushings.

The shipping charge is included in the prices listed above in the first post.

We only have one full kit left reserved for a local buyer. If he does not pick it up within this week, this will be up for grabs.

We have been thinking about replacing the SuperPro products with an alternative and much easier to source suspension bushings product line. The quality and performance will be similar to SuperPro level, just checking to see if there are still enough interest in this type of products for us to even bring them in. So show your interest here if you need some quality suspension bushings other than the hard to get SuperPro.
