Should be the same plain weave that their FD Attain replicas are. Which, by the way look WAY better than the twill weave ones. Look at the other thread for the pics and you will see. The FC guards look ugly in the original twill weave. Plain weave should be much nicer.

yeah, ETA for production is 1-2 weeks, then allow 3-5 days for shipping arrangement.

so the open and close just means that if im running single exhaust on the left i order a L open? and R closed means that on my right side there is not exhaust hole no more right?

yeah, L (open) R (closed) is for single exhaust on the left side. L (closed) R (open) is for single exhaust on the right side. Both is just for dual exhaust. So you are always getting a pair of guards.

 

oh, also, i was wondering something. since i will have a closed guard on the right side, can i paint it? i didnt know how well paint will take to carbon fibre, so i was just wondering if painting it is something that can be done.
of course, i would not be painting the side with the exhaust, just the closed side.

 

Bottom line, I may want to buy a set when it is done, but I need to see pics *installed on a car* so I can see how they would relate to my shine auto rear aero pieces that terminate right near the exhaust cutouts. I do not want to be in a situation where they stack on top of each other and stick out from the body a lot.

I'm not big on the whole "paste your name into this gay list, send a deposit and wait months for the parts" thing. When they are ready and the pics are agreeable then I will buy outright then. Or, if you dont want to do it this way, then I will just do without I suppose.

Just letting you know I am still interested.
