which one do you have? if you have the one with the fins, then it might work since the diffuser has an opening for the exhaust anyways, depends on how big that opening is, no guarantee. If you have the other one, then it will work for sure.

ive seen aluminum versions before but not sure who made them. i don't think aluminum would be good anyway since it can transmit a lot of heat fast. unless the backing was covered in some kind of insulation

yes, the whole point for using CF and heat resistant clear coat is to resist heat from transferring to the bumper not conducting.

robrxray, thanks for the clarification and update. Can you post a picture of the rivets you have? If everyone like it, you can tell people where to get them and how much they are.

A simple reminder for people installing rivets, you need to drill the hole on the bumper guards prior to applying it onto the bumper. Then, you put on the 3M tapes we included and install the guard onto the rear bumper. Make sure you match the lower side of the guard with the rear bumper valence to get a clean looking installation. Last, apply the rivets to the holes you pre-drilled earlier.

According to the online tracking, the last shipping supply we are waiting for should arrive tmr, so we will be able to start shipping them out as early as Thursday.
