MO Yet another new FC owner.

Hello there. Thought I'd introduce myself. I'm the new owner of a 1989 RX-7 GXL that I purchased from a local RX-7 fan. It's Winning Silver Metallic with a burgundy interior. It's in fair condition, though will require a few things. I purchased it as a supplement to my daily driver. It's not intended to be a daily, though I love driving it so I wouldn't be surprised if I drove it nearly every day. Anyway, it's been a while since I've owned a car I was really enthusiastic about, so I'm hoping to be rather active here. I look forward to being part of the community.

(Note: these are the seller's pictures, as I have not yet taken decent ones)

Hello, back! Pics aren't enabled yet or I just can't see them on my PC. Great intro except we didn't get an actual name for you or WHY you've gone rotary?

Inquiring minds need to know!

Haha. Sorry about that. My name's Sean and I'm from the central Missouri area. Yeah... I tried previewing the thread, but they weren't there. I figured it'd show up when it was actually posted, but apparently not. Anyway, I was looking for a great car for the weekends or maybe to work every now and again. I considered Saab 900 classics, Porsche 944s, older Toyota Supras, a WRX swapped Subaru Legacy wagon, Mitsubishi Starions - anything quirky, really. Luckily, I was in no hurry to buy. My brother saw this car and I've always loved RX-7s, but had trouble finding one locally for a reasonable price that wasn't totally trashed out. This car has some rough areas, but over all it seems to be a beautiful car. I love the sound of a wankel rotary, let me tell you.

Here's linkies to two pictures, since they're not showing up.

Thank you very much. Out of curiosity, are the wheels in these pictures S4 turbo wheels? They look like they are and they've been powder coated bronze. Either way, I like the way they look on it.
